Alphabetic hagiographica. A collection of 24 homilies corresponding to the letters of the Greek alphabet. Prayer on leaf 1a-2b, followed by a list of the homilies on leaf 3a. The text proper of the "Alphabet" begins on leaf. A few supplemental homilies, by St. Athanasius Sinaita and Ephraem Syrus (beginning on leaf 155a) are added to the main text. Running inscription (anathema) with information about the location of the manuscript (in Hilandar) on leaves 4-8. Ornamented headings and initials.
